The Story Behind the Build
This 5,000 sq.ft office fit-out for a fast-growing SaaS startup in Taramani transformed a bare-shell commercial space into a vibrant, brand-aligned workplace. The design marries industrial chic with warm wood accents, creating an environment that energises collaboration while offering quiet focus zones. The result is a workspace that attracts top talent and reflects the company's innovative spirit.
Client Requirement
A SaaS startup needed a workspace for 60 employees with hot desks, 4 meeting rooms, a town-hall space, a wellness room, a pantry with barista counter, and server room — all delivered within a tight 8-week timeline and ₹45 lakh budget.
Challenges Faced
The bare-shell space had no raised flooring, minimal floor-to-ceiling height (10 ft), and required extensive electrical upgrades. Achieving acoustic separation between the open office and meeting rooms within the budget was a key challenge.
The Outcome
Delivered on time and 3% under budget. The office was featured in the company's recruitment campaign, helping them hire 20 employees in the first quarter. Employee satisfaction surveys showed a 40% improvement in workspace happiness.
